Obituary

Reva Colleen Leise, age 90, of Sutherlin, Oregon, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. At the time of her death she was living at Bridgewood Assisted Living in Roseburg. Reva had lived in Sutherlin since 1984 when she moved to the area with her husband, Robert Leise. Bob preceded her in death in 1987. Reva was born in Baker, Montana on August 5, 1920 to parents, William and Pearl Harris. She lived in Baker until she was 19, at which time she travelled alone across country and took a steamship to Alaska where she worked as a beauty operator in Seward. It was there that she met the love of her life, Bob, and they were married in 1941. Reva is survived by four daughters, Judy Stein of Vancouver, Wa., Dianna Schreiber and Kenda Neves of Pocatello, Idaho, and Randi Arbuckle of Sammamish, Wa. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and a loving caregiver, Lloydean Torres, of Sutherlin. Reva enjoyed golf and bridge….played whenever she could and up to the day she passed away was playing bridge on pogo.com. She will be missed by all who love her, particularly her dear lady friends in Sutherlin/Roseburg area that were her bridge partners and played many a golf match with her. There will be no service per Reva’s request. She said she would come back to haunt anyone that decided to put her underground and/or have a funeral for her. We will acknowledge those wishes. Chapel of the Roses is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation. Cremation occurred Thursday morning, Sept 30, 2010 and she now rests in the beautiful Urn above.
